David C asked:
best way to cut or pry the chain apart on a wheel clamp, where can I buy the tool, what is it called?
clampers should be clamped
Thanks
hey managed to get it off by removing wheel and lower steering arm without causing any damage. ONE UP FOR THE Motorist, clampers 0

bolt cutters…ace hardware…lowes..
you could use any heavy duty cutters=%2f%2fcatalog01%2fen_GB&fh_search=cutters&fh_eds=%c3%9f&fh_refview=search&ts=1223464638643&isSearch=true
BUT!!
i really suggest you dont try they are put on in such a way that it is not as simple as braking the chain they interlink it with the while and possibly the axel depends on what clamp so you cant just brake them off
and then if you try and pay to get it off after youve tryied they will see you have tried to get it off and you will get into a lot of trouble and big fines
It’s probably a criminal act to actually cut the think off but I would be tempted to go back with a petrol disc cutter and cut it into a million bits and post it to them without putting any postage on it
Would be happy to hire one or even buy one sooner that paying them damn clampers
