Some of my favorite bands are Tool, NIN, Alice in Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, and Nirvana. I like music from the “grunge” era and I also like music that’s a little on the different side (i.e. Radiohead’s Kid A and Amnesiac albums). I usually don’t like anything on the radio stations today and I absolutely **** pop music. I would like to find out some bands that aren’t too well known or have been forgotten about by most people. nirvana would still have to be my favorite though…kurt dave and krist helped guide me through rough parts of my teenage life…those basic songs were so basic they were genius
i have to defend tool u people should appreciate such greatness more…only people who dont really know tool say all their songs sound the same

I’ve tried rolling the low end on my amp and lowering the volume on my guitar when playing muted lines. I have a late 80′s(?) charvel mopdel 4 with active pickups and a mid-boost circuit. Could this be the problem? Am I driving the preamp too hard with this guitar even when the volume is way down?Would a compressor/limiter help? Thanks
