Keeps Forge asked:

I like to spray paint the chain I purchase at Michael’s to match the pieces of jewelry I add to it. I can get most of it painted, but the parts of the chain that overlap do not get covered. I’m not sure how I can sufficiently paint the entire chain. I thought of painstakingly painting each piece and then putting it together, but in the reassembling process I would end up scraping off paint with my tools. Please help!

rissaofthesaiyajin asked:

I bought a string of gorgeous tiger’s eye stones in a market on holiday, but when I got them home and wore the necklace it broke and the stones went everywhere – on examination I realised the stones had been strung onto a thin bit of thread, which had frayed and snapped.

What I want to know is, would a jeweller’s or jewellery repair store be willing to put the stones onto a chain for me? The majority of the stones are still on the thread, which I have knotted back up – the rest are kept safe in a plastic bag. I would buy a chain and do it myself, but the holes in the stones are tiny (perhaps 1mm diameter) and I don’t have that kind of patience/dexterity/tools.

So? Do you think they would do it? Is this considered a repair, or a whole new piece of jewellery?

Does anyone know unique tools/gadgets that will help men who wear their wedding bands all the time except for very few instances for a short period of time (such as playing sports or working out at the gym)? For instance, a key chain or neck chain type of tool/gadget that will enable them to EASILY safekeep the ring close to them and be able to EASILY wear it back right after?
