You can use a file or grinder to remove the top of the pin down to the level of the chain link and then use a punch or nail and a hammer to pound it out the rest of the way.
A chain breaker can be bought for about 8 bucks.
Have you tried pulling your rear wheel back to increase the chain tension?
First turn your bike upside down and look at the rear wheel from the rear.Is it straight and in line?At times the right side may falter and move a bit.It is wise to check this before spending any money.
If you follow other advice and use a grinder[works] you really should have a master link to connect the chain as using vise grips to insert the chain pin can bend it if you ***** up.
