How do i get my bike wheel off?

so i got a bmx bike but it needed new inner tubes so i got some. i got the first tire off the bike but the back one the chain is blocking and wont let me get it off the same way i did with the front one. i dont have one of those chain tools so wat shall i do?

please make your answer detailed but simple and easy to understand
i cant slide my wheel forward cuz there is a metal socket sorta thing holding it from pushing it forward

    push the wheel forward while it is still on but with the bolts loose
    take the chain of the big sprocket
    and then take the chain of the small sprocket
    slide the chain to the left away from the tire

    1 loosen the back tire
    2 push the tire towards the pedals to make slack on the chain
    3 when there is slack you should be able to have the chain move slightly around the back of the frame (by where your back axle just was) so you can get your tire out
    4 Dont take the chain off it is unnecessary
    5 if you have a chain guard take it off those are for nerds
