jeffrey.call asked:

I removed the cog set by using two chain whips to unscrew the first cog which serves as the lock ring. After all of the cogs fell off, the freewheel remains on the hub, How do I get that freewheel off my hub? It will not turn using the appropriate free wheel tool and my largest 1/2 drive socket wrench.

Place the remover tool in a vise that is well mounted, place the wheel on the tool, and turn the wheel counterclockwise. When reinstalling the freewheel be sure to lubricate the threads with some white lithium grease.

Mirage told you what all bike mechanics do. If you have any problem keeping the tool in place you can secure it with a quick release skewer. Leave it just a little loose to allow the freewheel body to turn off. Doing this allows you to turn the body off without the tool slipping out.

Easy take all the spokes out
    1. Deflate the tube
    2. Detach the tube and the tire
    3.remove the rim strip
    4.unscrew the spokes from nipples
    5. wind all spokes through the hub to remove it
