You just need a coin or something flat.
Then find the lock and push it back.
And *tadan*
Thats it!
You made it.

If it is a one speed bike lok for the Master Link. The master link (ML) looks different and is unmistakenable. It has a special side plate that is slotted. Now this is so simple to do you will cry. Just grab the chain one both sides of the ML and bend the chain sideways towards the ML. When you put the pressure on the two little pins in the ML they will be squeezed in towards each other and then the special side plate will be easy to pop off with a small flat bladed ***** driver. ... If your bmx has multi gears you need to find chain tool to push a pin out and the chain will fall apart. ... They are very hard to break. Try putting it in front of a moving train.. just kidding. I'd take two pairs of vice grips and bend the weakest link from side to side trying to fatigue a couple of plates until they give up and break. You should wear some safety glasses

Hammer it till it's flat and destroy it like a paper clip?

If you got a hammer i'm sure you'll be able to break it no problem!
