		<description>Yes, you don&#039;t even need a special tool just grind the heads off the rivets very lightly, then use a chisel and hammer the link plate off.</description>

in my tool box .It presses out the pin in the chain which joins 
the links together.</description>

		<description>Yes, but be aware that if you need to remove links, that means the chain is pretty worn and could fail under even moderate stress. Better just change it. Cheaper in the long run.</description>
