Alucard Zero asked:

OK! I finally received my new derailleur, and I do not have a chain rivet tool. How should I put on the derailleur without the rivet? It’s a SRAM 3.0 and it doesn’t seem to have hex bolts for the idler pulley. I went on the utahmountainbikinbg site, but it doesn’t help too much.
It’s an Xmart bike(I’m planning on a trek from lbs later in the year, so I just wanna ride this one for now.) I’ll buy a riviet if I REALLY need it,but is there really no other way? I don’t even ride off trail that much.
I BORROWED A CHAIN RIVET TOOL FROM A FRIEND’S DAD! I WILL DEFINETELY INVEST IN ONE!
