I need a tool that I can use to cut chain link fence posts that are already in the ground. I can use an extension cord for the tool but I can not remove the posts.

Use a sawzall. You can rent one cheap. If you know anyone with power tools they will generally have one

Yeah, Go to a home improvement store and tell them you want a pipe cutter. They are like a tubing cutter if you’re familiar with them. Why not use a hack saw? instead

A reciprocating saw should handle this all. You should be able to rent it, if you don’t want to buy one. You can get metal or wood cutting blades for it. Best of luck to you.
