David C asked:

Hi

A friend has to pay 600 pounds to get a wheel clamp removed off her 400 pounds car that is on her own driveway.

What is the fastest and most efficient way to cut it off? some kind of grinder welder or something else? where do i buy the tool to do the job properly as cheap as possible.

Thanks
we are not really bothered about who owns the clamp or getting fines etc, you can pay those off at 50 pence a week, she does not have 600 pounds right now and needs to get to work, she is a Nurse. its an outrage they can come onto private land and do this preventing people from earning a living.
once its off shes selling it and buying another
I did remove one before by removing the ball joint off the steering arm at the wheel and slipping the chain off. I never heard anything more about it, I sold the car to webuyanycar.com the day I took the clamp off, that was over a year ago. Anybody want to buy it? complete with Padlock chain and clamp

the coast with the most asked:

Okay, so my fiance and I can’t really dance. We wanted to have Romeo and Juliet by the Dire Straits but there is no way we could dance to that. Can anyone think of a good (not too cheesy) song we could have our first dance to? We can just do basic slow dancing. FYI, we are both 29 years old. I like heavier rock music such as Tool, Alice in Chains etc, she likes rock music as well such as Dispatch, Jewel.

MidAtlantian2 asked:

When you take a bicycle chain apart, you use a tool to press the center pin almost all the way out. Then when you reassemble it, you press it back together. But I have found that the reassembled link is usually very stiff: not very flexible at all. Am I missing something in my technique? Is there a way to ‘decompress’ the newly assembled link?

Many thanks for any suggestions …..

I have disconnected the master link but I need to remove several links in order for it to fit properly. I do not have chain splitter tool and I notice they no longer sell these things in your average department store. Is there a way to remove chain links without it without damaging the integrity of the chain itself? Thanks so much in advance for anyone with any kind of an answer.
