Hello asked:

NOTE: I would never do anything like this, nor am I or anyone I know in a situation like this. I am just very curious.

Ok. Say there is a Young Teen who’s family beats them and other things on a weekly basis. The ‘mother’ and ‘siblings’ (2 brothers, 1 sister) doing the actions, with 1 of the brothers playing 80% or so of the sibling involvement (this one is 16-17). 2 other siblings are involved in ways such as hitting YT when told to by the ‘mother’, and bringing YT back out to their holding place. It has been going on for a year or so because the YT doesn’t think anyone will believe them if they were to tell and is never hit on the face so marks can be covered up.

And the mother sometimes hits, restricts food, verbally abuses herself. She also instructs the others to do what she says.

The father is aware of what goes on, but doesn’t try to stop it / leaves the room when it’s happening, but on the other hand will sometimes bring medical supplies out to YT to clean out a wound.

Some ‘other things’ are:
Keeps them chained up out of the house for most of the year (inside in the unheated basement during coldest months)
Doesn’t feed them properly.. food brought out has been tampered with / is ******** or something else done it in front of YT.
Not allowed to bathe / be loose from the chain hardly ever.
Tools used to beat YT are fists / feet/ bats/ anything available really.

YT is still allowed to go to school, though and the school tries to get involved but YT won’t tell them anything. They make a call home about what they think is going on. YT knows what’s going to happen is going to be bad, so YT leaves a note in a teachers mail box.

When YT gets home they are beaten severely and one thing leads to another until the ‘mother’ tells the most involved ‘brother’ to get a gas can while she goes to get some matches. The YT is too badly beaten to get up and run away, so is still there but alive when the ‘mother’ and ‘sibling’ come back out and douse them in gasoline and set them on fire.

The 2 other siblings are nearby and don’t try to stop them. The father is inside watching TV.

During this time the teacher checks his mailbox and finds the note and being as he was the one to go to the higher up school officials he calls 911 and tells them to go over there. The police roll up as YT is being lit on fire and are able to put out YT so they are still alive.

What would the sentencing for each person be?

The state I live in is Minnesota.

Is this a plot of a sick porno?

  • Robert G says:

Scenario one- Mother is charged with child endangerment, attempted murder, battery, assault, domestic abuse and a slew of other crimes, the siblings are taken and put into a group home or psychiatric hospital as they would also be considered victims of their circumstances and years of abuse at the hands of the mother, the father is arrested for neglect and accessory

Scenario Two- The mother claims that the husband did it, she gets the kids to lie about being abused by the husband, the husband is arrested and convicted of the slew of crimes listed above for the mother and she is acquitted and labeled a victim

I would start with Premeditated Murder, 12 counts of Child Abuse each and let them explain why it should be less.

  • Kyle96 says:

child abuse, domestic violence, attempted murder
