Ok, I finally found a nice piece of land on my property that I can put a garden in. I want to do a Vegetable Garden.
It’s up against my green chain link fence. The grass is dead in that area. It gets a lot of direct sunlight. It’s a pretty big area, longer than it is wide.
I’m looking to do tomatoes, peppers, peas, and a couple of other items. I want to do raised garden beds. I’m not the handiest person in the world and have limited tools.
What kind of wood should I use? Should it be treated? Does it have to be perfectly level? (I do have a level.)
I’ve got a green thumb but sometimes I’m all thumbs when it comes to being handy so the more basic the better. Any tips would be greatly appreciated?
Obviously I would construct it now (in the fall) and be ready to plant in the spring.

Which band do you like better?
I know they sell small cable chains for making necklaces. They sell them in spools, and I was wondering what type of tools do I use to cut the chains into the desired length I want? I’m sure it is not scissors… But if you happen to know, please help me out here!

I’d rather not waste money on a plumber if I can fix this my self.
When pulling the handle down, no water is let out into the bowl.
The flush handle is loose, so I first though a new lever would resolve it. But when I opened the tank and tried to pull the chain manually, still nothing happens.
It doesn’t have a flapper valve, but a syphon diaphragm instead. I assume this needs swapping, but have never done anything like it before. I’ll get the parts from B&Q and try it, if you say I could do it…
Will this be a difficult job?
Would I need to remove the tank from the toilet bowl?
What tools will I need?
How much would the parts / tools cost?
And finally, How much would it cost a plumber to do instead?

It’s not a blockage, the bowl is clear thank goodness! – Ew!.
It’s the bits and bobs in the tank at fault, for sure.

See the hook? I was pulling that manually, but the mechanism just gurgled. A little tiny bit of water was released and replaced by the tap (the tap is fine). Eventually, and apparently for no reason, it will flush on times, about 25% of the time.
Thanks to Roxel I have decided to make this week all about Tool, RATM, and Alice in Chains. I’m pretty sure that this week will better than last week. if this band of the week thing doesn’t work out well I’m going to stop it for good. the last thing I would want to do is cause conflicts here in R&P because someone’s favorite band or musician didn’t get pick or something. Iet’s make this good R&P
